Current Read and fun with Oakley

I always enjoy seeing what people are reading. This is the book I am hoping to finish today.

Our librarian was kind enough to show me some Maine Homesteading books.

Our lab, Oakley, has been full of energy today wanting to play.

Herb photo update

I finally took pics of my herbs today. My anise and Summer Savory have poked through. They all are stretching towards the light today.

Seeing how many pods have sprouted every day brings a smile to my face.  :)

The Herbs continue to grow!!

I did not take any pics today but we have Horehound, Sage and Oregano sprouting.  We only have 6 more herbs left to sprout :)

Here are the newest seedlings that have poked through. I am SO excited to have some more herbs coming up!!

I am very excited to see all of these growing. It amazes me each day how many grow!!!

A few more surprises today

I was very happy to notice we have a few dill that have poked through today!!

It feels good knowing I am having a little success growing herbs!!!!

Yay for Mail

I received my veggie seeds today!!

My potato bucket came today as well as the tomato film which I want to try.
I am excited to plant things this year. :)

Look what I found today

I'm so happy to share I have my first sprouts. I little square of Sweet Basil smiled at us today.

Nothing else is smiling at us but I will take this tiny bit of greenness.  Yay for homemade herbs!!
