Tempted but behaved

We had to go to Tractor Supply to pick up my order for Husqvarna Chaps for Dom and Goat hoof clippers.  The Chicks and Ducks are in!!!!!! I was tempted to buy some ducklings but resisted. :)

I peeked at our seeds today and some of the echinacea and rosemary are beginning to grow!!! I am so excited for those!

It was so warm out today I had the kitchen window open. More snow has melted!!
We need to get the top portion of our driveway fixed this spring as the mud is so deep I don't dare to park my car in my parking spot it's so muddy. I am so thankful for the mud because it means the snow is melting. :)
We ordered some supplies for the barn down back from the Mennonite today. We ordered all the poles for the fencing. I cant WAIT to start working on it.

Seeds are growing

Pictures of before and after thinking of seedlings. 🌱

Broccoli and cauliflower are in these.
My onions are just peeking through the soil.

The impatients, rosemary and echinacea still have another 2-3 weeks before they germinate.

New additions to the farm

Meet Donut our new to us whether goat. We are slowly introducing our other animals to him. He's super sweet and follows you around like a puppy.

Today we picked up this beautiful angus Heifer who was born today. Meet Hamberguesas 😍😍

She started jumping around this evening.  She's a sleepy girl for now. Her fur is so incredibly soft. She will be with us a year and a half approximately before she becomes our meat.
I planted onions, broccoli, cauliflower, echinacea and impatients Saturday.
This afternoon we had quote a few broccoli and a few cauliflower pop up!! So excited to have some green!!
We had to put some boards down on our pathway to the barn due to all the mud. I am SO happy mud season has arrived. Warmer weather is coming!!
Our windmill arrived today as well. That won't be put together right now though.  Maybe tomorrow night.
We cleaned the barns today before Hamberguesas went in their.  We spent all afternoon outside. I have a tiny bit of sap from one of the maples 🍁 we tapped. The other one doesn't have anything in the bag yet.
I'm loving the fresh air and warmer days.
